     SHERRI TRIAL, MAA was born in San Antonio, Texas.  She attended the McNay Art Institute, studying drawing and Italian Renaissance.  She alter attended workshops by Donald Jackson, (scribe to the Queen of England,) and Marsha Brady, (world renowned calligrapher).  Ms. Trial and her family moved to Mississippi in 1991, where she continued to study on her own.
     Ms. Trial's work now incorporates calligraphy with miniaturism, often in abstract form.  her work has been shown in numerous galleries throughout the United States.
     Sherri Trial is a member of the Craftsmens Guild of Mississippi, the San Antonio Calligrapher's Guild, the Chicago Calligraphy Collective, and the Miniature Artists of America, (MAA.)  She currently lives in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, with her husband and their three children.
